The Research And Design Of Virtual Walk-through Technology Based On VRML

Virtual Reality Technology is a newly applied technology and it has been used in many fields. It concerns many subjects like Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Technology, Man-machine Interface Technology and so on. Virtual Reality became one of the most important computer applied technology.Following research work has been done in this thesis:(l)The development, the future and current situation of Virtual Reality technologies are introduced. Then the purpose and background of this thesis is introduced.(2)We did some researches on the virtual walk-through theory. Firstly the paper introduces and compares 3 image-based rendering technology, then followed by constructing a comparatively reasonable and flexibly operable four dimensions virtual scene model. This model organically combines various virtual objects and forms a image-based virtual scene having features similar to real world and can walk through.(3)What's more, discussions are put forward on key technologies about 3D scene and bring forward practice-cited technologies to establish virtual environment objects. Through the ASP and ADO technology, we design the web database system for object model metamorphing and the scene related to it,design of virtual walking-through environment, 3D alternation technology implemented by using VRML and Java is analyzed, topics including the object oriented design of virtual walking-through environment and dynamic modification of virtual environment are covered, also, this thesis is trying to give details on generation of 3D real-time animated explanation system for virtual simulation environment.(4)Based on the framework, this paper puts the cutting ways of the communication between VRML and ASP into effect, combined VRML, EAI and Java program,we realize some part of scene virtual-walk, especially accomplish the department room scene virtual-walk. We put forward a new method to manage and store the scene.In this virtual framework, different operators can login on different accounts, walking through their own virtual scenes.At last, I did some basic researches by using virtual-walk technology on othermaterial and construction field. Meanwhile some researches had been made on virtual-walk technology on reinforced concrete metamorphing, which are the groundwork of following related research topic.What's more, further researches are also prospected, especially in concurrent working.
