In current, Software Radio is the hotspot in wireless communication. The development of its theories become mature gradually, and Software Radio is also applied extensively in practice. In Software Radio, general DSP is used to realize various digital signal processing arithmatics, but there are some limitations which are high cost, more consuings of power and cubage. So the realization of mobile terminal using Software Radio is difficult now, which is costless, consumingless, and small.The developing direction of integrated circuit is SOPC which is composed of DSP, CPU, special logic circuit and interface. Its outstanding advantages are less consuming, small cubage, and costlessness. So SOPC has become the design method that is widely used by numerous Softwares Radio designers in recent years.In this paper, a kind of Software Radio's demodulation is designed based on SOPC which have powerful function and excellent performance. This demodulator adopts CORDIC+RISC structure which has following advantages: it can universally implement carrier wave instauration and complete several of degital modulate's demodulations with software; by using simple digtial signal processing arithmatics the noise is abated effectively. This demodulator has higher performance.In this paper, two CORDIC modules have been designed and ASIC synthesis and FPGA verifies is completed .The result indicates that the work frequency can reach 190MHz under 0.35 μm CMOS technics. Two 32 bits RISC CPU are designed, which have been verified with FPGA, the ASIC synthesis of CPU1 has been completed and its work frequency can reach 230MHz under 0.35 μm CMOS technics. With CORDIC and RISC CPU modules, integrating the memory resource in FPGA, the whole demodulator is completed with FPGA and pass the timing verification.
