Research Of Interoperability-Oriented WebGIS

With GIS being widely applied to all walks of life, there have arisen a great many heterogeneous spatial data and isomeric application system. It is a vital technique as to how to unify and share these spatial information and implement the interoperation between GIS application programs. One of the effective ways to solve this problem is to initiate the distributed GIS service which is capable of interoperability.Based on the technology of W3C and OGC, this thesis proposes the common framework of WebGIS based on Web Service, and it analyzes and designs a WebGIS archetypal system. It also gives a detailed description about the key technology of implementation.
