A Research And Implementation Of Web GIS-based Water Resources Information Publishing System

By deep studying the customer's need, the main purpose of this paper is to design and fulfill the Taizhou water resources information publishing system with developing tools GIS and WebGIS.First the characteristic, contents and demand is analyzed, and then method and project principle of the water conservancy information system is determined. Choice of developing platform is one of the most important problems. After evaluating for many WebGIS tools, A native software SuperMap is selected as our developing platform, and then a system in SuperMap IS platform is constructed.The primary work of the paper is listed as the following:1, With full discussing of Taizhou city flood prevention, we research the generaldesigned of the water conservancy information system; 2, UI is designed for the system according to design request for Taizhou water resourcesinformation publishing system;3, Realized the main function: map handle, map query, data query, special topic map and irrigation works maps etc. This paper presents the detail design of each function module; 4, For crystal data backup, the system security inside and outside is designed.
