With the development of technology and the increasing complexity of production, it is required to monitor and control the very important process which is relevant to the stability of system and product quality for the safely and highly efficiently running of producing equipment, Therefore, A general and efficient design approach using a real time monitoring and control system to cope with a complex industrial producing process based on LLDPE is presented in this paper.In order to realize the real time monitoring and control system of a industrial producing process, including the modeling of the industrial plant (LLDPE e.g.), the integrated monitoring and control of the producing process, the configuring of the computer hardware system, the interface and software of monitoring and control, the design of the real time database, and the design of the HMI, this paper represents a method combined with the practical application of industrial gas-fluidized bed polyethylene process. Contents in this paper are as following:1. The paper summarizes the definition, content, developing tendency and modeling methods of the monitoring and control system for industrial linear low density polyethylene process, and introduces the industrial linear low density polyethylene process and process control requirements based on it.2. Analyzing the characters and design requirements of the gas-fluidizes polyethylene process, this paper proposes the design of the computer integrated monitoring and control system of the plant and the structure of the system, mainly including the design of the platform, the producing software packet, the real time database and its interface.3. This paper realizes the monitoring and control system for industrial linear low density polyethylene process. The development of the system applies the operating platform based on WEB. The monitoring and control system for industrial linear low density polyethylene process comprises the software packet as the core and the real time database as the data exchange center.4. With the long-time live operating of the monitoring and control system for industrial linear low density polyethylene process, a series of results and their analysis has been given out, mainly including the control of production rate, melt index, density and grade changeover. The results demonstrate that the system has reached the anticipated design requirements and advanced the automatic control performance of industrial linear low density polyethylene plant. Finally, the whole thesis is summarized, and some experiences of the integrating,developing and executing the monitoring and control system for industrial linear lowdensity polyethylene process are given out.
