The FCS has become one of the best solutions of industry control system because it's development and advantages. As a kind of communication standard in industrial environment compared with other network, the fieldbus is more suitable for the connection of spot equipment. But Sometimes the control system is enormous and complicated, multi-protocol will be in the system at the same time, the realization of fieldbus protocol communicate with others protocol is the problem for designing the distributed fieldbus control system based-on multi-protocol.The three cars interlock control system is taken as the background of this paper, the distributed system with multi-protocol was designed according to the FCS technology, computer technology, wireless technology and code cable location technology. After introducing the present condition of FCS system in our country and international research development trends, The second chapter introduces the whole construction and solution of the system; in the third chapter, It introduces the theory of code-cable location technology and recognition technology of travelling car's position; in the fourth chapter, it introduces the design of software and hardware, Especially shows details in the realization of the free port communication of Siemens S7-200 PLC and the construction and Profibus communication of S7 300 PLC, in the end of the fourth chapter, it introduces the realization process of monitor and control system using Visual Basic6.0.The products used in the construction of FCS system are the products with Profibus interface, and most of which were made in foreign countries. So it is the urgent task to develop the products with Profibus interface for us. In the fifth chapter introduce a method for realizing the communication between the Profibus equipment and the third side products without Profibus interface, realize the conversion of protocol between RS232 and Profibus by using the embed interface board. It has been well used in the system referring to this paper.
