Design And Implementation Of A Workflow Process Definition Tool

From the year of 1990's, Workflow Management Technology as the effective support of BPR (Business Process Reengineering), has been the focus of people, including users, developers and researchers. Workflow Model is the logic representative of business process. It is the base of Workflow Management and has significance of workflow executing. Among the architecture of workflow management system, workflow modeling is the basement. A cettain workflow model requires certain kind of workflow system.The task that author take charge in includes to design and implement process modeling tool, organization modeling tool and WPDL script analyzing. Andinflow choose action network chart as the description modeling of workflow process because it is readable, natural and straightforward, easy to be understood by enterprise manager who is not very familiar with workflow.To support any logic that may be used in definition of business process, Andinflow support and/or split and join of activities, set condition on transitions. This system has fully thought over the integration of application and has done deep research to relevant data and parameter passing. We described the parameter declaration of subflow and application, and parameter passing mode.We design Andinflow through Object-Oriented method, presented the class diagram of process model and organization model in UML.To enable Andinflow change model with other workflow product, we use WPDL script as semifinished product. The process definition tool generate WPDL script, then get information from the script to put into database.
