A semiconductor switch device named RSD(Reversely Switched Dynistor) is a pulsed power device which has characteristics of high forward-blocked voltage,great peak current,high ,fast switched time,long lifetime and high repetitive rate et al.So,there lies an extensive application prospectives for such device used in pulsed power ststem.This thesis first analyzes the basic structure characteristics,researches its operation theory,briefly discusses the trigging-diode mode and quasi-diode mode respective corresponding to pre-charge process and turn-on process.Also presents the critical conditions for turn-on process of RSD and the influence of external components upon the RSD's turn-on process.Here puts forward the basic RSD trigging circuit mode,presents magnetic switch for separating reverse trigging circuit from main discharge circuit and analyzes how to design a suitable magnetic switch in detail.Actually we took the experiments under different voltage.The experimental results proves our design correct and reasonable.Repetition is among the most important parameters of pulsed power system,.How to improve the repetitive rate has became one of the research focuses of contemporary pulsed power system. One RSD-based repetitive pulsed power supply through referring to resonance principle is proposed and has taken the experiment under 50Hz triggering frequency.This thesis analyzes the circuit's operation characteristics and takes the key point design with the prime component-magnetic switch.Here also presents experiment results and prefers several methods to improve circuit's parameters.In order to be utilized in higher power pulsed power system,this thesis has researched and developed one-stage and two-stage magnetic pulse compression circuit based on RSD,and has discussed several conditions for this use.Pulsed power technology deals a wide range of displines and technologies such as semoconductor technology,control theory and high electrical field theory and so on,and it is of great research value and has a wide practical prospect.Therefore,later the research work interrelated with this research is supported by National Science Foundation Committee(NO.50277016).
