At present the power pulsed technology is used more and more widespread in each application, the pulsed power with direct connecting to source voltage is widespread. Its preamplifier of infrared system AC/ DC transformation part all uses the diode bridge type rectification with large capacity electric capacity filter circuit, the net side input current presents the serious non-sinusoidal characteristic, the harmonic current and the wave distortion are big, the power factor is low, moreover it pollutes the electrical source voltage seriously. In order to make this technology more mature, this research unifies the traditional pulse transformer method with the power factor adjustment technology and controls the switches to design the pulsed power with the pulse amplitude,the pulse width and the frequency adjustable.Consideration to Step-Up and power factor correction, Based on comparison of kinds of APFC circuit topology, Boost circuit is designed. Based on SPWM control chip UC3854, through the control of output Voltage loop and input inductance current loop, 400V Stable DC voltage output and power factor correction is realized. Based on MATLAB environment,system is simulated. By the simulation, result is consistent with the theoretical analysis. Considering adjustable pulse amplitude, a level of Boost circuit and pulsed transformer are designed, the amplitude of the pulse is modulated by changing the dutyfactor of the Boost circuit.Considering adjustable pulse width and frequency, high power IGBT driver circuit is designed and The output pulse width and the frequency is decided by the input signal of driving circuit; The system is simulated based on Pspice9, the simulation result indicates that the output pulse Amplitude, width and frequency is adjustable.The simulation result indicates that: Using UC3854 as the core of Active power factor adjustment circuit may remarkable enhance the power factor of the system, two level of Boost electric circuit + pulsed transformer as main circuit is very good at rising voltage.
