The Design And Realization Of GIS-Based Groundwater Management Information System Of Beijing City

This article is about the Beijing Ground Water Management System based on COM technology. The system realizes a structural integration of groundwater space analysis model and geographical information system. The system is developed and realized on the basis of Map Objects, a geographical information system module produced by ESRI. With the support of Map Objects, the users are able to do professional applications like groundwater calculation, analysis and evaluation. Under Visual Basic environment, a three dimensional visualization and data communication between the system and database is achieved using OpenGL and ADO.
