| Workflow is the whole or partial business process of automatic or semi-automatic under the software and hardware environments. Based on the general OA system, the paper explains the concepts and connotation of OA system with concept of "5c", and analyses current status of OA system in our country from both market and technique, besides, this paper introduces the advantages of OA system in B/S architecture.The thesis provides the concept of workflow technology and the model of OA system with workflow technology, generally speaking, a workflow system can be divided into four stages, they are definition stage, establishment stage, disposal stage and close stage. This paper presents the species and the implement method from all different angles, upon which this paper provides the model and implement of general office automation system.The thesis points out the difference of the main developing-platform of OA software, defines the GOA system architecture based on J2EE standard and setup the struts framework. Based on the design goal and the system analysis, this paper provides the functionality, performance, running environment and the overall architecture.This paper thoroughly discusses UML modeling, Apache Struts framework, database connection pool and the technique of persistent layer in database during the design and implement of GOA system; this paper also provides the instances in GOA. Further more, this thesis introduces the main ideas and the characteristics of Component-based technology, and provides the detail information of J2EE(JSP, Java Bean), JDBC and connection-pool in GOA implement.This paper gives the functionality of workflow subsystem and application frame in GOA system; from the system design, database design and the implement, this paper deeply discusses the main process and relevant technique of the subsystem.In the end, the thesis summarizes the practical significance and the result of GOA system, provides some tentative ideas of writer.
