As informationalized education has brought about drastic increase in information volume and placed a higher demand on information retrieval, it is imperative to discover the rules and knowledge implied in these data and find out corresponding strategies. The birth and development of the technology of fuzzy mathematics have just provided strong support for the solution to this problem.The key to evaluation is to establish the evaluation models, among which the most familiar one is linear, i.e, the comprehensive evaluation model of weighted average of the evaluation targets. This comprehensive evaluation model is based on the presupposition that evaluation results can be added together and evaluation factors are linear. Being simple in calculation and convenient in its building, this model is widely adopted in the present teaching evaluation. In fact, however, this presupposition is unjustifiable and therefore, its actual application is not quite satisfactory and its evaluation results are poor in reliability. As a matter of fact, the objects of evaluation possess various attributes, which indicate their different characters from different sides, while these characters are to some degree fuzzy, i.e, non-linear, hence the more feasible and reliable is the comprehensive evaluation by the means of fuzzy mathematics. On the basis of this thought, Then author will design and develop an evaluation platform of B/S structure for web-based course by appling method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, technology of ASP and technology of relative database.This research will be surely a valuable and significant attempt at the application of fuzzy mathematics technology in web-based course evaluation.
