Software Project Management Decision Support System (SPMDSS)

The article emphasizes on the implementation of Decision Support System hoping to give some new ideas on it, and fills the blank of Decision Support System applied for Software Project Management. A combination of Object Oriented Technology and Prototype Method is used to develop the complete Software Project Management DSS Prototype System, which is constructed on the .NET platform to apply many kinds of software technologies and is an attemptation to use DSS to manage software project. Problem Processing System, Model Base System, Data Base System, Algorithm Base System, Knowledge Base System, Human Interface System, General Management System has been independly designed and developed , and, data dases and data dictionary bases for each system also have been designed and created. The originality of this article is the architecture designing and the corporation between the subsystems , a new solution has been raised to harmonize all the subsystems to work more effectively, and a new GPM system has been brought out, Goal-Problem-Model System, which is the first to apply the Object Oriented Technology to the Goal , Problem and Model three-layer-system. This article propose its own opions on decision methods, key technologies and the structure of Decision Support System.
