Petri Net-based Project Management, Optimization And Decision-making Technology,

Project management uses knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to organize activities for a certain target. It separates managing department from working department , and make corporations have a efficient mechanism. Project management makes project running fluently and efficiently by controlling its progress, managing its resources and data, organizing human resources and equipments. And the modeling characters of Petri net can be used to provide a simulation and optimization tool for project management, it can reduces risk and improves efficiency. Also we can optimize project by analyzing dependency of tasks, substitution and exclusion of resources.This paper first presents the function of project management , and introduces the scheme of process management module , resource management module , human resource management and cost management module . Then it imports Petri net, introduces its characters and advanced Petri net. Basing on how to apply Petri Net in discrete event system, we will discuss the feasibility of using Petri net in project management. Because of the big risk of projects, we decide to integrate decision support system(Dss) with project management system. And according to the characters of advanced Petri and the requirement of Dss, we research on how to use Petri net to provide modeling, detecting, simulation and analysis function. At last we will introduce the resource optimization flow, and offer a really optimized decision-making tool for project management system.
