Oil is vital to industry. The geological information has been obtained by the seismograph in seismic prospect. The geophone is the component to collect signals for seismograph. The seismograph has much better quality than geophone in the field of exploration for oil reservoir. So it is the bottleneck to progress the prospecting techniques. That is to say, the geophone restricts the seismograph to improve the precision of exploration. The uptodate digital grating geophone has been developed based on morie technique. It has been improved the precision in measurement the minute displacement with the signals amplicication characteristic and the error average effect.The digital grating geophone doesn't match with the exiting digital seisgraph in the market. So, it is the main task that how to dispose of the output signals and acquire the quivery information in the subject. The whole signals processing system is to collect the digital signals from grating geophone with single-chip PIC and transport to PC serial port 232. Thus, the analog vibration signals collected by grating geophone will be reconverted and the information of the vibration signals is acquired. The paper describes the whole process of collection communication and reconversion in signal process sequence. The program is tested by measuring signals in the different frequencies and amplitudes. The signals of grating geophone are processed with this program. Then the results and the pictures are recorded subsequently. At last, the multiplication of morie fringes is discussed in order to improve the precision of grating geophone.The main achievements in scientific research are described as follow: (1)The primary parameters of morie fringes are discussed, which are formed by relative motion between the reference grating and the directive grating, and the opinion to use different constants in reference grating and the directive grating is advanced. Furthermore, it is expected to improve the precision of the grating geophone. (2)The data collected and processed have been achieved in the different hardware and the real-time processing can be realized with the serial port. (3)The testing fuction for digital grating geophone has been achieved and this fuction can be applied once more in the research of improving precision.It has been proved that the grating digital geophone performed well in the experiments. Furthermore, it is potential to improve metrical precision ulteriorly.The grating geophone will provide more exact and more precious information in the field of exploration for oil-reservoir in the future.
