The Electronic Product Structure Design Knowledge Base System Research And Development

The structural design of electronic products is a complex process of many impactfactors, which involves many basic disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanics,Electromagnetism, Calorifics and so on. When designing, the designers often need tospend a lot of time and effort to search and collect the relevant knowledge. In addition,as the knowledge of similar electronic products has largely repeatability, it tends toappear the repeated search and collect. This will greatly affect the efficiency of theproduct development and the speed of designing products. Therefore, if we introducethe knowledge-based system in the structural design process of electronic products,which storages and manages the domain knowledge, and achieves the knowledgesharing and reusing, so we can greatly reduce the difficulty of product development andimprove the efficiency of product design. Based on these, the main content of this paperinclude:1. Study some knowledge processing theory through knowledge acquisition,representation and utilization(querying and reasoning). And on considering the form andcharacteristics of the knowledge about the structural design of electronic products, bringup the knowledge processing ideas and its realization method which used in myknowledge-based system. This will point out the direction for the construction andimplementation of the knowledge-based system.2. Study and introduce several key technologies which used in the process ofresearch and development the knowledge-based system for structural design ofelectronic products. In order to operation and management of the underlying knowledgefor knowledge-based system, we summarize the theory and realization method of ADOdata access interface technology. Besides, with the purpose of strengthening theknowledge display of knowledge-based system, we discuss the integration technologyabout the knowledge-based system and the Word document.3. Research and develop the knowledge-based system for structural design ofelectronic products. It needs to design the overall demand of the system，select thesystem development platform，design the overall framework of the system，build the underlying knowledge-base and design the system functions modules. In addition, Thisthesis takes knowledge-based system for server design for example, to illustrate thefeasibility and practicality of the knowledge-based system discussed in my paper.
