The Application Research Of SAN In The Network Management System

The primary function of Network management system(in this text, that is the Network management of Guizhou Network Communications Corporation)is that by collecting interrelated data of network equipments in the province, real-time reflect network's data flux, data stream orientation, operation distribution, complexion of resource usage and states of equipment function. At the same time, via collection and analysis of data, supply convenient and reliable network information to interrelated departments of GuiZhou Network Communications Corporation, offer effective administration, analysis and monitoring resort of networks to network management personnel, and provide decision data to network development layout. Combined with the constructing projects of the network management system in this corporation, the author marks out this system and puts forward construction scheme. The necessity and urgency to construct the network management system for NETCOM in GuiZhou Province is stated first in the article, which is also the purpose and the implication of this research. Then the construction plan and the execution criteria of this target is presented by the author. The emphasize of this article is the analyze, comparison and research of several restore method according to the stability, the expansion, the safety and the efficiency of the restore net provided by the network management system. Therefore the SAN restore technology is selected to solve the restore problems in the network management more effectively and lower the application expenditure by concentrate the managements. And the double-loop method in this system connects the register devices and the computers in ways, enhances the usage rate of data. The system also founds good foundations for the construction of damage control center in the future.In the end of this article, by the layout,the process of the target construction, the primary test and the virtual application of the system since September of 2004 is introduced. All these conceived us that the system has solved the central management, central protection, flexible expansion, etc. During the test operation, the system is stable and runs perfect.SAN memory network technology be applicated in GuiZhou network management system is all right, it provides referenced model for corporations to build large-scale network management system.
