One Kind Of Multi-functional Gas Piping ARMS Based On PSTN

The thesis analyses the present development of the automatic reading meter system (ARMS) . With the progress of the sensor technology, electronic technology, automatic control technology and computer technology, there are four methods to read consume energy, such as water, electricity, coal gas of residential nowadays. The first method is prepaid fee type, the second way read meter with wire, the third method checks meter wirelessly, the fourth way is compositive. The first type' s operating organization is more complicated than savings telephone card, and because prepaid fee method do not need to read meter and so it is hard to statistic and check. The second method is complicated to lay lines, what' s more, its function is singularity. The wireless method' s ability of anti-disturb is weak which menace the system' s reliability.The project designs one multi-functional gas piping route ARMS controlled by micro-controller based on telephone network. In order to guarantee the veracity and dependability, the multi-functional gas piping ARMS should follow the following design principles. First, durative of systematic communication, second, communication real- time character, third, communication reliability, fourth, data security, fifth, redundant network resources, sixth, network expandability.The whole system is made up of master controller and customer multi-functional gas meter. The master controller and customer multi-functional gas meter realize communication through telephone network automatically. The paper introduce the whole system' s composition diagram and every part' s function, emphases the block diagram, hardware design of the gathering and controlling model and the communication model in customer multi-functional gas meter and the software program in customer multi-functional gas meter and the master management, including the reading meter administrative system.The systematic hardware design includes consumer multi-functional gas meter and master management two parts. The designs in consumer meter include gathering energy consumption in customer multi-functional gas meter with photoelectric sensor, showing the present quantity of energy consumption with PS7219, memorizing the coal gas consume amount with X25045, detecting leaking gas with QM-N2 gas sensor, detecting flameout with thermal resistor MF58, driving BTA1200 with photoelectric coupling chip MOC3061 to control the ventilation fan, judging CID number with HT9032C, sending and receiving FSK signal with Modem chip MSM7512B to realize the communication with the maser controller. Expanding four interrupts with a 74LSOO chip in customer multi-functional gas meter through Po.o-Po.3. Their functions are gathering data, controlling the gas piping automatically, detecting leaking gas, judging ringing, separately. The maser management link to PSTN through one standard Modem. With the administrative system software to realize automatic reading meter from the customers in the database. The master management judge whether the other side is hand on or not by LM567, receive coal gas data sent from customer meter with MSM7512B automatically, convey the data accurately to the master computer, convert the data automatically and save to the database.The systematic software design includes the program of consumer multi-functional gas meter and the program of master management which contain the program of modem chip module and the read meter administrative software. Program in customer gas meter include main program, external interrupt 0 program, external interrupt 1 program and timer 0 interrupt program. The functions of external interrupt 0 program are counting pulse, memorizing gas consumption and controlling the switch of gas piping electromagnetic valve manually. The external interrupt 1 program detects leaking gas and ringing. Serial interrupt program gathers CID number.
