Human has entered information era. The rapid development of information technology accelerates the step of modernization and informationalization. The solution of informationalization can elevate enterprise's competence and optimize resource configuration. By means of the solution, the manufacturing enterprises in China can realize rapid development. Informationalization is not only the trend of society and economy development, but also is a keystone for upgrading manufacturing enterprise's competence The discrete manufacturing plays a leading role in China manufacturing, but up to now, the application and development of ERP system in the discrete manufacturing has lots of problems, such as, long developing period for needs analysis to system implement and maintenance, high cost of soft development, difficulty in ERP application, scarcity of expansibility and transplant, etc. According to our investigation analysis and research, we have verdiscover that the key reason about these problems is because ERP system can't be of general character and intelligence. To resolve this problem, we carry on an investigation in our research.Aiming at the core problem, author integrates his own work experience and domestic and foreign research result. By adopting software engineer methodology, this paper discusses technology and business logic in ERP, the main content includes style choice in web technology framework and optimization performance, general data exchange technology, data mining technology, business process rebuild, criterion of ERP and so on. Especially in manufacturing management method, cost management method, production of accountant warrant, warehouse management etc. we carry on a deep research and practice. At the same time, we verify our research is feasible and applied by realization of some function modules in some degree.Author expects our research on universal and intelligent ERP can resolve the present problems in ERP development and application and elevate the informationalization degree in discrete manufacturing at last.
