The Development Of Digital Audio And Video Stream System

In recent years, along with the development of the electronics, micro-electronics, computer and communication technology, digital processing and transmission of image and sound information have been improved. The establishment of the moving picture and its tone general coding standard (MPEG-2) improves the standardization of the relative tech, and it gives a steady base for the using of digital video tech.Nowadays, our broadcast and television system is in the process of changing from analog to digital. In this process, the command of digital source increases. This project which is based on former graduate's relative projects achieves PCI card drive of MPEG-2 TS output system under Linux. This system can transit data stream to code stream to export with different rates. In the project, I developed a friendship interface, and customs can export code stream easily with simple mouse action. When the stream is replaying, custom can 'pause' or 'skip' it. At the same time, with preconditioning of TS stream, the system can export stream circularly under circular mode, and it can update the time parameter in real time. Because of its simple, it can adapt to being used in researching, producing, and testing digital TV equipments and systems. It also can provide signal source for digital TV receptor or STB, and so on.Since our digital broadcast system is developed rapidly, the analysis, edit and processing of digital signals become the hotspot today. Because of the command of 'non-linear editor', we develop a 'multi-media edit integrative work station', which is based on our lab's tech and research in many years. This station can handle normal multi-media stream in current market. It can code or decode audio and video, also can change between stream and picture, change among different streams such as MPEG-2,MPEG4,H.263,H.264 and so on, analyze and play different steams, view different pictures. At the same time, the system is expansibility, maintainability, convenience, and safety. The two system I said before are as a result of many years work of the whole lab.
