This paper systematically set forth the importance of the research of low-voltage and low-power analog integrated circuit design,and it introduces the circuit principle of FTFN with variabe current gain,FTFN with multiple output,CMOS fully balanced FTFN and their application in the analog integrated circuit.Based on analysing deeply FTFN's application in the design of the first-order filters and the second-order filters, A configuration for realizing current-mode second-order multifunctional filter using four-terminal floating nullors(FTFNS) is presented in this paper. The circuit can simultaneously realize the lowpass,highpass,bandpass ,notch current transfer functions. PSPICE simulation results are employed to verify the circuit performance.In modern systems,analog and digital circuits are implemented in the same integrated circuit chip.Therefore, A configuration for realizing voltage-mode second-order multifunctional filter using fully balanced CMOS FTFNs and a configuration for realizing current-mode second-order multifunctional filter using fully balanced CMOS FTFNs are proposed,which owns many advantages,such as realizing multiple functions simultaneously , adjusting the natural angular frequency w0 independently,lower passive sensitivities,lower power consumption, be suitale for mixed analog and digital circuits and realizing the allpass function under the condition that no matching condition exists.At the same time,PSPICE simulation results verify their performance.Moreover,the application of FTFN in the design of active networks ,the realization of immittance function and the design of oscillators are analysed.The realisation of current-mode transfer function using FTFNs and the realisation of parallel and series R-L and C-D immittance using FTFNs and parallel and series (-R)-(-L) and (-C)-(-D) immittance using FTFNs,and the design of sinusoidal oscillators using FTFNs are mainly analyzed.PSPICE simulation results of the relative circuits are given to confirm the therotical analysis.
