In the new information age it has been a new lead for people to communicate with each other by means of audio and video communication system. Recently videoconference, which is integrated with many technologies such as network communication and computer, enable more and more people to collaborate through Internet. This has made the distance shorter. Video system can be used in many areas, such as group meeting, especially for a distributed enterprise, product advertisement, which can make people interested in enterprise product and enlarge its market.Communicating with remote customers, who can give the customers a very deep and real impression, remote training which can make the training more easy and feasible. Remote technical support, remote collaboration by means of that people can discuss project online. Public visiting by means of that people can request query and give their opinion and contents. In one word its very significant to develop video conference, according to the viewpoint of communication model video conference can be divided into the they styles.One to One, One to Many, Many to Many. We can also divide videoconference into another two styles:Desktop videoconference and meeting room based videoconference. According to the application environment.This paper introduces a new web based videoconference system; this system is very suitable for remote learning remote training, classroom lectures and over the campus communication. We have developed web based videoconference system with the help of Microsoft windows TAPI system tool. In order to use the system the user need to long on directly into the ILS server, and he an call the meeting information such as meeting name, start time, end time, and he can also join the existing meeting and communicate with other member online. This paper introduces videoconference concept, evolution, Microsoft TAPI architecture and the videoconference system developed by us. Finally we have conclusion, which has certain direction into this fast developing technology.
