IP Multicast Video Conferencing System And Key Techniques Research

With the rapid development of multimedia technology and modern network & communication technology, the intercommunications between enterprises are becoming more and more frequent. So Network Based Video Conferencing system has become a hotspot in both in and outside research field. On the base of it, we went on our research.The motivation for the beginning of the research is the Video Conferencing System funded by Lixing Power Company. Firstly, we gave a brief introduction of the standard of international video conferencing system, and analyze the traditional structure of video conferencing system. Also, we have pointed out the shortages of them. On following, we discuss the new generation of video conferencing system which bases on software switch technique in detail. Then combine with the difficulties we met in the project, we put our effort on the research of main technologies used in the system. These are the main aspects: in the audio processing technology's aspect, we focus our effort on the audio mixing technique. By thoroughly researching on the exist materials, we put forward a new method of audio mixing- weighed by voice and competition system; in the video processing technology's aspect, based on the large frame of video, and the unreliable service of UDP, we introduce an technology of packaging and unpacking; Because multimedia data requires high bandwidth, which is easy to cause congestion, with the help of TFRC system, we use a IP-multicast control system base on automation network.On the basement of those theories, we detailed the system we designed for Lixing Power Company, including the modules of the client and server. The system got good effect in practice, and could be widely used in most company.
