| The technology of software monitor based on white-box used to monitor the executing process of a software and make some corresponding control over it. During the process of software development, software monitor based on white-box works between software test and maintenance, i.e., when the software has been tested, but not been put into use by the users yet. The aim of this technology is to guarantee the right working of the whole software system, and it counts much in guaranteeing quality of the software.This thesis first introduces the definition of technology of software monitor based on white-box and its way of working. Additionally the first part also states this technology's background, meaning and its feasibility. Then, the thesis summarizes the system of software monitor based on white-box, introduces the relatively technology. At last, based on the theory of the software engineering and the ways of object-oriented programming, and considering the specific characteristics of the software monitor based on white-box system, this thesis analyses and designs a software monitor based on white-box system for a materials management information system, and also realizes the main functions of the whole system.The technology of software monitor based on white-box is discussed detailedly and deeply in this thesis. The thesis introduces the whole scheme of designing a software monitor based on white-box system, including the system structure, the software structure, the function of each model, the design of database and so on. This thesis also gives detailed explanation of some key points in developing such a system, such as the software development environment and the database.All in all, this thesis lays emphasis on the whole idea of designing a software monitor based on white-box system. At the same time, it also pays attention to combination of theory and practice. Besides, the details of realizing such a system are presented in the thesis, which can be put into practical use.
