Intelligent building has been developed for a period of time since 80's. It adopts integration management method, which economizes human and material resources, enhances running efficiency, and strengthens security in great extent. The method is realized by developing software platform of monitor system that is the core of intelligent building, intelligent gateway, local controller, central computer network, and so on. The development of a lot of new technologies such as computer, graphics manipulation, and network technology brings forward new requirements to the software platform. How will these technologies be applied to the system is the emphases of research. Obviously it is important to study our own software platform of monitor system to accelerate the development of domestic intelligent building technology.The dissertation introduces the development actuality of software platform of intelligent building monitor system all over the world. By taking advantage of predominance of all products and combining practical status with system requirement, I design the system and the details. The software package consists of the following three parts: graphic interface system, database system, and data communication system. In addition, I also put forward two new directions in the development of software platform of intelligent building monitor system.At the same time, the dissertation introduces some creative ideas too. The major ideas include three aspects. Firstly, converting between 2D and 3D graphics, which can enhance the flexibility of the system. Secondly, exporting data to Excel file format (BIFF8) in binary without Microsoft Office or ODBC supporting. Finally, using structural storage method to save data, which can reduce the consuming of memory, and enhance the storage efficiency of the system.According to the above, the system is implemented under Windows 2000 server and generated using some development tools, such as Visual C++ 6.0, SQL Server, and so on. The dissertation describes the technical details of programming for each part, which include design idea, program method, implement technology, and so on.
