The Research And Implementation Of Enterprise Project Management Technology In PDM

PDM is the abbreviation of Product Data Management. It is a valid method that relies on the IT technology to realize the optimization of enterprise management, which comes from the combination of the scientific management framework and the realistic enterprise problem, the computer technology and the enterprise culture. The PDM makes the function of integrated framework in the process of enterprise information integration. The field that PDM involves is very wide. It can manage many kinds of information related with the product, including the e-documents and the database records.Project Management is a burgeoning science which involves much other technology. It's fields include the using of Operational Research, Economics, and Humanities etc. As a scientific method for management, Project Management is competent for one-off tasks which have weighty responsibilities, complicated relations, pressing time limit, and limited resources. Up-to-date Project Management has been applied to every walk of life with different types and different scopes. With further opening of Chinese market and investment field, Project Management may be applied to more wide scopes, involved in more fields, and exert greater effect.This article mainly introduces the theory, framework design, particular design of phosphorPDM's Enterprise Project Management (Project Management) subsystem, and some technology used during implement of this subsystem. "Project" is the most important object managed by Project Management System which can be abstracted from every industry of the country's economic system. The question that how effectively manage project so that can bring maximal improvement of productivity and capability of competition is cared by every corporation.The subsystem of Project Management includes: project definition management, project template management, project resource management, task management, contract management and project WBS code management.Project definition management mainly process maintenance of project object, such as definition, query, update, delete of project object, and holistic maintenance of project object's affix files, documents, contracts, assignment of resource, organization framework and WBS task tree .It's the core of subsystem.Project template management's duty is the management of reusable project template. The aim of project template is to save the WBS structure, resource's assignment structure of project object so that can reduce repeated working. The main function of this module is the creating, updating, deleting, querying of project template object and project template's template task, also includes inserting sub or sibling tasks etc.Project resource management maintains the base operation on project's human resource, work center, equipment, tools and material etc. The maintenance includes creating, updating, querying, viewing, deleting of each kind of resources.Task management is distributed in project definition management and project template management. In project definition management module, task is called work task; and in project template management module, task is called template task. By the way, reusable criterion task is also maintained as criterion task tree in task management module. Contract management maintains operations of creating, updating, deleting, viewing of project contract, which also maintain reusable contract template.Project WBS code management is responsible for management of project or project template's WBS code scheme. User can freely define his or her own WBS scheme with this module, and user can freely use his or her scheme into project definition or project template definition.The server part design of Project Management subsystem is based on 《PMBOK－Project Management Body of Knowledge》made by Project Management Institute.
