The Application And Research Of DW And DM In Network Management System

It is significant to research and apply the technology of the DataWarehouse and DataMining in the intelligent network management system. The contents in the dissertation originate from the application of the technology of the DataWarehouse and DataMining. How to apply ER modeling and Dimensional Modeling in the process of building intelligence network management system is included in the dissertation. The major contents are as follows in general.(1) The author gives the development of the Data Warehouse and Data Mart and summarizes the definition of the DataWarehouse.(2) The author gives various technologies included by the DataWarehouse and OLAP and discusses how to resolve them in the real engineering.(3) The author discusses the process of the DataMining and the various applied arithmetic in the process of the DataMining.(4) On the base of the need of HaiNan telecom system, the author designs some OLTP systems, such as the staff management system, the resource management system, the transaction management system and the configuration management system through systems analysis, in order to implement the intelligent network management operation system.(5) On the base of HaiNan network management operation system, the author designs the reporting system through the technology of dimension modeling.It is shown that the algorithms and approaches providing in the thesis are effective and applicable, and can be used for reference ofthe research and application of Data Warehouse and Data Mart.
