Insight Into The Current Meeting Report In Newspaper From The Invalidation Of The Agenda-setting Function

In terms of the theory of agenda-setting in the science of communication , this thesis studies the agenda-setting function of the current meeting report in newspaper based on demonstration research which concludes that the agenda-setting function of current meeting report is in the status of invalidation as a result of the failure transformation of the agenda of meeting report in newspaper into public agenda. To further explore the situation, this thesis attempts to find out several failure sources and analyses the negative influence of this failure. Meanwhile, the thesis proposes a few countermeasures concerning how to restructure media agenda aiming at the positive utilization of the communication function of the meeting report in newspaper. Based on the theory of agenda-setting, the thesis make an effort to take an inside look on the meeting report in limited words and give some valuable proposals in the course of reform.
