Nowadays,as the development of information technology,the traditional way of monitor and control has been influenced deeply. Fieldbus technology is becoming more and more popular because of its simpleness in structure and easiness in maintain and high reliability and openness Control system based on Fieldbus has caused an epoch-making change in industry control realm. The interlock system of railways signal is the center of the railway transit. In the information term, the railway signal system will makes one part with the communication and computer technology. With the development of the information technology and network technology, the tradition concept of the railway signal is changing and the function of signal is extending. So constructing a new system or rebuilding a system needs a more safe, reliable and efficient solve method. It is a real good solve way with the fieldbus technology in the railway signal system.The research object of this project is the mine railway signal system of the stope of Mei Shan Mine Corporation of Bao Gang. The SIMENIC programmable controller S7-300 with the PROFIBUS technology designs the mine railway signal control system. First, the article introduces the chief design scheme and peculiarity with the characteristic of the mine railway signal system. Secondly, in two parts, the article specifies the controlling software of PLC with SIMENIC STEP 7 and the monitoring software with the WINCC, which is configured in the top layer. Finally, the article introduces the characteristic and the implement process of the communication network with the PROFIBUS-DP protocol in the system.
