Application And Research Of Scripting Capability For Designing Of Real-time Database

Script is a high level abstract language which can be edited and run, all technologies related with the script are called script technology. Because of the strong function of the script technology, it is adopted by more and more software venders.Data collected from control systems, DCS or PLC, needs to be processed before being stored in the Real-time Database. Fashionable Real-time Databases at the present time, PI and PHD, provide some general data process functions, such as unit conversion, filter, and evolution. Due to the lack of a real language to express, the process functions are limited. Simultaneously, the subsystems related with the Real-time Database, such as control system, soft measurement system and flowchart system, need more flexible data process functions, which few Real-time Database software vendors have provided.By script technology, we investigate the kernel problem of the Real-time Database, real-time data processing, design a Real-time Database frame which uses scripts to process real-time data. The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:1. Literatures on Real-time Database and script technology were surveyed; review of ActiveX Scripting.2. By ActiveX Scripting, we design a scheme for the kernel of Real-time Database, which has more flexible data processing functions. We adopt VBScript language in this design.3. By script technology, we design an integrated scheme for the real-time applications to process data and graph with same measures.4. For the applications have been mentioned, we design an application developing environment, witch comprises script editing environment, graph developing environment and application simulation environment.The dissertation concludes with a summery and a prospect of the script technology.
