Chinese media industry policy is a new concept different from news(propaganda) policy. It is an important factor which influences the course of Chinese media industrialization development. This paper aims to make a deep and comprehensive analysis in the respect of Chinese media industry policy so that to find a scientific policy road to promote Chinese media industry development. This paper consists of three chapters.In Chapter One the general situation of the media industry and the media industrial policy is discussed, including the concepts of the media industry and the media industry policy, the trend of Chinese media industrialization development, the formation stages and changing features, as well as text classification of Chinese media industry policy.In Chapter Two Chinese media industry policy is analysed deeply. Based on the analysis in the first chapter, the author clarifies the policy surroundings, defines the main policy problems, and gives the policy appraisement from both macroscopic and microcosmic angles further.In Chapter Three the future direction and counter measure suggestion of Chinese media industry policy are dealt with. The author analyses the experiences drawn from the global media industry policy, explains the goals and principles of Chinese media industry policy, and finally provides the attemptable conception to build and complete the Chinese media industry policy system.
