IC-fingerprint System Of Certification In Examination

Fingerprint is one of the characters in human body. It has many special characters such as unique, stability, anti-reproduction, anti-replacement and anti-imitation. By using the fingerprint for recogniton is one of the mature biological technology in recogniton. As an information carrier, IC card can easily keep the information in secret, rapidly save and read, easily manage the information because it can encrypt the saved information in it and the saving and reading of information is conditional. IC card has been widely applied in finance, transportation, medical treatment and identity recogniton. The application of this technology was combined by the fingerprint recogniton. By using it, IC card can powerfully avoid cheating in examination and manage it more effectively, expediently and neatly. In this thesis, we analyzed some methods in fingerprint map pretreatment, such as the computation of direction map of fingerprint, the division of fingerprint map, the bineration of fingerprint map. Based on this, we analyzed the whole characters and partial ones of the fingerprint and proposed an improved method in fingerprint recogniton. The main character of this method is that it solved the complication of algorithm in fingerprint recogniton when it has no center point.By analyzing the principles of fingerprint recogniton and the basic knowledge of IC card, in this thesis, we schemed out the IC-fingerprint system of certification in examination based on the fingerprint recogniton. We completed it by using the Visual C++ in the Windows 98,2000 and the technology of network communication, multi-thread and serial port communication.In this thesis, based on the fingerprint recogniton, we also introduced the hardware top-framework, system function, method and main matter in software programming in the IC-fingerprint system of certification in examination.
