Fingerprint identification is one of the most mature biometric technology which is widely used at present.As a biologic character that human being naturally has,fingerprint could overcomes the shortage that is easily lost,cheatly used,forgotten,attacked and etc which usually happened in the way of tradition,thereby it could provide the safest and the reliablest solve plan.In the recently,with the development of fingerprint identification technology and the enhancement of people safety consciousness,it make the fingerprint identification become the most used in the market and many kind of product with fingerprint identification technology are accepted by people,which has the widely application foreground.It is intended to design an integrated fingerprint identification system with capturing,processing and match functions.It could realize individual verification fast and rightly.This paper has studied the academic knowledge of fingerprint pre-processing,character extracting and matching deeply.Based on it,we develop a fully fingerprint identification arithmetic.With the core of improved Gabor filter enhance technology,the fingerprint pre-processing arithmetic could enhance the contrast among the veins lines at a large extend,and obtain the clear minutiae image.In the aspect of character extracting,this paper provide adaptive threshold for minutiae image character extracting based on the classic minutiae extracting method and character eliminate arithmetic.It could get real character information intelligently.In the aspect of matching,combining the minutiae and the map matching method,this paper offer an improved dot pattern matching arithmetic based on least distance.In the base of Jain's study,we also use number and dispersive density of character to determine the final matching scores together.This paper has developed the hardware and software system for automatic fingerprint identification system based on our arithmetic.The hardware platform is made up of TI DM642 DSP system and personal computer.It include capture module,pre-processing module,network transmission module,character extracting module,matching module and database module.As the network server,DSP system could finish fingerprint capturing,pre-processing and network transmission tasks.As the network client,PC could realize character extracting,matching and management of fingerprint database,and complete user information register,management,storing and identity verification.Otherwise,this paper has analyzed C code optimizing problem deeply about DSP,and heightened program executive efficiency for ensuring the real time of system.The practicality and market course of fingerprint identification technology is getting more and more quickly.Through insteading of individual identificate code and password,it could prevent unti-authorization,protect ATM,GSM phone,IC,desk PC,workspace and computer network form embezzlement;It could go to do the individual verification when we are doing a finance deal in the help of phone or network;It also could replace the key. certificate,sigil and etc.The quick development and widely used of fingerprint identification technology must creat a new age of individual identification.
