As the Internet infiltrates our daily life and work gradually in 21st century, E-business plays an important role in modern business. It is vital to research the E-business problems. According to the development way and operated management, E-business chooses some corresponding development tools to raise the efficiency of system development, decrease the development cost, pledge the system security and promote the position in E-business industry.This thesis firstly introduces the basic concept of E-business. Then it discusses the business models. A firm adopted E-business should be creative to the business models. Because the E-business times is a period of changing with each day, stressing on efficiency and developing the individuality, so the E-business should make continuously adjustment to meet the needs of the market and customers. On the development technique aspect, the 3rd generation is under development. The CGI, as the first generation represent, backwards in developed methods and measures and also is difficult to debugging. In views of encapsulating the CGI and nesting the HTML and XScript in the second generation, ASP, PHP, JSP are not fit for the large enterprises' application. Because the Java becomes a platform-J2EE from an development language, IBM Company develop the products Websphere on the basis of the J2EE platform and Microsoft Company displays the brand-new technique-.NET Framework respectively. Thus, the features of the third generation appear in development technique. This thesis makes a comparison between Websphere and .Net, which are representatives in the third development platform. Finally it compares and illuminates the advantages and detects from concept, platform, system structure, data access, protocol inter-operating and hardware occupied resources in E-business system development.All the results provide the abundant reference for E-business Company and System Development Company and also offer some basis for the choices of business models and development tools.
