In this dissertation, the technology of computer, communication, sensor, control and diagnosis is applied to the heat providing system. The author refers a large amount of material, and points out the shortcoming of the heat providing system based on the knowledge of the existing system. The author also presents the development direction of the heat providing stations. According to the above, the author designs a heat distribution system suited for our country's condition. In order to realize distributed control and concentrated administration, the author uses distributed computer control system. The whole system uses some sensors to obtain the measurement data and to send out the control commands. The computer is used in the distributed station to control the system by valves. Equipped with the corresponding hardware, the system not only matches the various functions, but also fits the requirement of economization. The system is working continuously, and needs high reliability. Thus the author designs a malfunction system in which different types of malfunctions are grouped, so that the different circumstances can be dealt with. The system has self-check function to avoid mis-alarm or failing alarm. The sensors and electric motors have responding mechanisms to realize this function. The safety and running are guaranteed in the system. The system solves the problem of information transmission by using microwave communication including heights design of microwave antenna to ensure the power of communication. The author studies the theory of malfunction control, and to control the system by the circular code system and to use error control by redundancy method, to ensure the reliability of the communication. The communication conflict can be avoided by using conflict-avoiding method to ensure system is working in order. By this way, the channel is used efficiently. The author designs a compact interface by which human-computer intercommunication can be realized easily and the various operations of the systemcan be implemented conveniently. An operator can grasp the operation in a short time. Meanwhile, the system has the function of password setting and affirmance to prevent the operation from sending bad commands or mis-operation. In this way, the security of the system can be improved.
