Research Of Remote Monitoring System Based On GPRS

Remote monitoring has a very important significance in industrial control field. In many industrial field, field data on dispersive or unwatched occasion need to be obtained at regular intervals and simple control commands are sent.The traditional implementation approach of remote monitoring system commonly is to construct and maintain cable or wireless communications network, which will be a considerable expense. With the development of communication technology, the traditional methods have not met more requirements, and a kind of new low-cost communication mode is demanded. According to above analysis, this paper brings forward a kind of remote monitoring system based on GPRS, which is embedded with UDP, IP protocols and has the advantage of high-peed, high-reliabilityand low-cost by using GPRS as communication channel.
