Nowadays, with the development of computer technology, the applications of computer to the field of industry control become more and more extensive. Combing control theory and computer technology, computer control system has become the mainstream of auto control system.Based on the project-the development of roller automatic testing equipment, in this paper a study on the application of the computer testing and control system to the field of automatic testing of axes is made. Through introducing the idea of computer testing and control system design into the whole process of designing the control system, a real-time testing and control system is developed to implement the functions such as automatic testing. The system is made up of the software part and the hardware part, and gets the input by means of sensors, and then deal with related information with the data processing unit.In this paper the design of the structure, project of testing and control, hardware, software and database of roller automatic detecting equipment is finished. In the design of the project part, a project of computer testing and control system based on industrial computer is presented. In the design of the hardware part a new hardware design platform is developed. In the design of the software part, the control software is divided into several modules. The program of data acquisition and stepping motor control is discussed and the real-time problem and reliability of the testing system is resolved. In the design of the database part, a paradox database is established and the program design of each function module and user interface is finished.
