The Research Of Heterogeneous Database Integration And Resource Communion

Heterogeneous database integration is an important branch in database research. This paper makes a general systematic research on the design and realization method about the integrated information system of heterogeneous database. A model of heterogeneous database integration system-HEDIS is pronounced which is based on three-layer architecture. The system supports the global transaction management of Microsoft ACCESS, SYBASE, SQLSERVER, DELPHI and ORACLE in the Internet environment and supports system application's expanded and the increasing of the number of the integrated databases.The paper also puts forth concrete solving methods about the following key problems in the realization of system: (1) Middle operation logic layer is separated from the system. Designing the three-architecture for the integrated system. (2) Designing the uniform general data-describing mode. (3) Designing the global query language based on SQL. (4) Implementing the dynamic building of the integration system.
