Research Of Profibus And Realization Of A Monitor System

Nowadays, the technology of Fieldbus has become the hotspot in the research field of automatization and become the main method of communication and exchange of information in the DCS systems. And the Profibus is a kind of Fieldbus broadly used in many situations of process control of industry such as automatization of processing, automatization of machining and automatization of building.In the article, we first discuss the basis and background in selecting this topic to discuss in the thesis and bring forward the system of research object. Then we introduce and analyse the Fieldbus technology based on the aspects of basic conceptions, peculiarity of technology, and the communication protocol, and we also focus on introducing some representative technologies of Fieldbus System especially the Profibus System. In order to introduce the Profibus System, we compare the technology of Profibus with other kinds of Fieldbus, analyse the advantages of Profibus System in technology, and then bring forward some outlines in configuration of a control network by using the technology of Profibus, give some examples of Profibus system using in some practical applications.By combining with the engineering application, we describe in details the process of developing a monitor system based on the Profibus technology. In this application, we configurate a distributed control system based on Profibus. In this project, we use thesoftware of CITECT combining with the technology of OPC to develop a Client / Servermonitor system.In the end, we have a review and summarization of this article, and raise a new hypothesis of the Test and Control System based on the multiplicate Fieldbus.
