With the extensive application of fieldbus technology in the area of industrial automation and the development requirement for full digitalization and networking of AC servo system, it has become an important developing tendency to integrate fieldbus interface into AC servo driver. On the basis of in-depth study of PROFIBUS fieldbus technology, combining the PROFIBUS fieldbus with AC servo technology, an approach of realizing the fieldbus interface of AC servo driver by using the PROFIBUS-DP technology is proposed, and the slave station for AC servo driver based on PROFIBUS fieldbus is designed.Firstly the PROFIBUS fieldbus technology is studied in this paper, the type and protocol structure of PROFIBUS fieldbus is analyzed, the PROFIBUS-DP technology is described in detail, the basic function as well as the extended function of PROFIBUS-DP slave is emphatically studied, and the PROFIdrive profile for drive technology is introduced. Then the fieldbus interface of AC servo driver is designed by adopting PROFIBUS-DP protocol chip VPC3+C,and combining with the specific function of AC servo driver,the control system of AC servo driver is designed by applying high performance AC servo control IC IRMCK201 and DSP processor TMS320F2812, the hardware circuit design of slave station is completed. On the basis of that, the software design of slave station for AC servo driver is performed in this paper, the overall software structure is introduced, the design methods and key technologies of each module are analyzed in detail,the PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus communication and servo control function of slave station have been achieved.According to the hardware and software design of the slave station, the PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus network is constructed by using PLC and PC as the master station, the test software is developed, the designed slave station for AC servo driver has been tested, and the expected results have been achieved. Finally, the whole work is summarized, and the further research is suggested.
