The Study And Application Of Embedded Software Design

Embedded system is a special computer system, which is based on computer technology and faced with applications. Embedded software and embedded hardware can be adjusted according to the demand of application, and can be satisfied with the criterions of function, reliability cost volume and power consumption of the application system. Embedded system can control or manage other devices. Along with the development of information technology and digital products, and along with the application of Internet, embedded system is applied in consumed electron devices industrial devices civil devices and Government Issues widely. In 21 century, embedded system will become one of the fast developmental domains. With the rapid technological developments and the corresponding rise in the range of diverse applications, embedded systems are becoming ever more complex with ever greater functionality.The pivotal problems of design embedded system are how to design embedded system rapidly in diversified domains, and how to control the cost and the design time. My tasks are study the principals and methods of embedded system design, and apply these methods in industrial control system.In this paper, A software and hardware co-design approach is presented. This approach lay out the embedded system as a whole, design the framework of embedded system, separate software from hardware, abstract the hardware driver layer of embedded system, design the hardware and software interface of hardware driver layer, design the hardware and software respectively, integrate and test the system, and then finish the whole system. In the end, this approach is applied to high-speed sewing machine, and is proved good effect.
