In the production process of industry and enterprise, the dynamic monitoring of industrial equipments is one of the most important parts of the production management, as well as the important means to ensure the enterprise to run normally, securely and economically. Presently, the main stream of Industrial Control Systems is the Field-Bus Control System (FCS). The automatic data collection and control system has been an important accessory of ensuring the production activities in foreign countries. The domestic researching and manufacturing of such systems has been enhanced since years, which has even caught up and over passed the foreign counterparts. The use of automatic data collection equipments, combining the field information and management information which are processed by routines running in the background, can facilitate the better decision in the production activities. This paper introduces the main phases of ICS with analysis of the features of FCSes, with combination of the industrial data collection meter, EDB2000, which is designed and realized by the author's group. The paper focuses on the system's design, functional modules, timer service and CAN communication service and the paper focused on the design and realization of the Graphic User Interface (GUI), which facilitates the collection, analysis and process the industrial data.In process of the design and realization of the ICS, the author has ported the LDBoot and Linux kernel, as well as the porting of the JFlash running on PC host machine in order to download the BootLoader from PC to Flash ROM, has written and ported some device drivers. After porting the Microwindows, the author also realized a graphical component library for ICS's GUI design. After all, the timer service and CAN service are also needed to ensure the normal run of the ICS. All the jobs are introduced with pictures and core source code, with the evaluation and expectation of the system as the end of the paper.
