Design Of Embedded SCADA Software Used In Industrial Control

With the rapid development of computer software and hardware technology, embedded system has been widely used in field of industrial control. However, on one hand the supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA)which has been successfully applied in industrial control can not directly deployed in embedded system. On the other hand, the embedded system applied in industrial control dead need a kind of software which can provide the function like SCADA. So it's a compelling trend to combine the embedded system and SCADA. It is in urgent need of the research in embedded SCADA.This thesis, starts with the introduction of the hardware and software platform of embedded system, and analyses the function, architecture and data flow of the embedded SCADA later on. Further more, discusses the designer of real time database and graphics interface. Based on the result of analysis, a model of embedded SCADA, which includes development environment and run-time environment, is provided. In development environment, we introduce how to realize the designer of real time database and graphics interface. In run-time environment, we introduce how to realize the real time database and human machine interface (HMI). In addition, other important modules such as I/O device driver, alarm and trend are also mentioned.At last, we test the run-time environment which is more significant for the performance of embedded SCADA. The run-time environment runs on different platforms includes Windows CE and Linux. The test result, indicates that the real time database work efficiently and all the control function can respond in time. Some flaws of the model and several research directions to perfect it are also discussed.This thesis provides us with a full description on the design thought, framework and detailed realization of embedded SCADA, and it can be very good reference in the research of the same field.
