The Research Of An Integrative Document Management Information System Of Exploration & Design Institute

Computer integrated management is the present modern method of the documentmanagement for the institutes of exploration & design, also is an important segment of its CIMS. With the continuously development of the application of CAD software, more and more engineering designation data, files and other information should be managed by the modem method which is of high efficiency. In this paper, analysis and design of Document Management Information System has been carried systematically in the CIMS environment.Based on B/C/S pattern and modern information technique, such as Data Warehouse, Active Server Pages, Active Data Object, and so on, it was achieved that integrating the information and the functions of the document management by the software which has been designed in this study. The software is a convenience, powerful and easy used tool for document managers and engineering designers. Moreover, the software has been used for the actual work and obtained the better appraisement.
