Wearable computer, with its mini or super-mini size, wearable characteristic and optimal combination and collaboration of human and machine, is a new personal mobile computing system. In recent years, it has turned into a hot research field. This thesis, included in the preliminary research of the discipline development (wearable computing) and the research of Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, mainly conducts a research on the application of the wearable sensor system under complex circumstances. It is oriented at wearable computer and wearable sensor equipments (camera, microphone, GPS), focusing on information capturing and related technology supporting and with the aim of building a prototype for on-the-spot information capturing. The thesis covers the following points:First, the demand for software and hardware environment is analyzed and system structure and functional model design are put forward.Secondly, the functions, namely, acoustic and video frequency information capturing, image information capturing, position information capturing and text information capturing, are achieved via certain technology.Thirdly, the information captured has been compressed since the resource in wearable computer is limited. And the overlapping and synchronization of these information can improve their validity. The storage and index of information are realized and, in the end, a digital report is shaped and could be of some help for further research. Finally, related tests of system model are conducted and related modificative methods are put forward towards the related problems. The prototype can help users to conduct real-time interaction with the environment and improve users'sensibility to the environment. This may be of some help for future research and development.
