Wearable computing is one kind of new concept computing technology, has very difference with traditional computation technology. It has broken the traditional interactive pattern,made the person and the computer more integrative,enhanced person's whole Sensation and computation ability. It has provided one kind of ubiquity computing and interactive mode. Wearable computing is an extremely complex computing technology, which involved with multidisciplinary research. Wearable computer is one of typical represents of this technology, has the important research value.With the application of Wearable computing technology transferring from special domain to daily life, Wearable computing sprung up these several years. People want computer can service for them ubiquitously. These ask mobile input devices having property such as using easily, easy carrying and high inputting efficiency. Aim at these requirement, we cooperate with the United States CCG laboratory to study text input of Wearable computing, search for a mobile input device fit for Wearable computing.This paper is center about wearable computing text input, contains building experiment platform, improving Twiddler Tutor, experiment with multi-tap, experimental evaluation, data handling and discussion. Summarizing the meaning and application of Wearable computing, thus introducing human and computer's interactive demand of Wearable computing;Introducing particularity of Wearable computer and human interactive. We select several mobile input devices for parsing.Develop Twiddler Tutor suit for Chinese input method. We are based on English Twiddler Tutor to modify, making it suit for Chinese input experiment.Prepare for experiment, do test on Chinese input, record the data.Do experiment on Twiddler Chording and Multi-tap. Discussing on experiment's result. Test Twiddler Chording input Chinese. According to result, we give some suggestion about Twiddler Chinese input.
