This paper researches the distribute monitor and diagnose system (DMDS) bases on the high-pressure spray descaling system in hot strip rolling factory. It aim to make the technology of status monitor and faults diagnosis adapt to the modern machinery's development trend of large scale, scattering and group at the same time realize scattering monitor and centralize diagnosis. The paper introduces development process and actuality of status monitor and faults diagnosis and the complexion of site, analyses the essential principle, frame structure and characteristics of DMDS. At last develops the high-pressure spray descaling system's monitor and diagnosis system based on DMDS according to the structure and running characteristics of the high-pressure spray descaling system. The design idea, blue print, hardware, software, critical technology and application are also discussed in this paper.The system includes two main functions: 1) Monitoring the running status of high-pressure spray descaling system. At the same time realizes data collection, data analysis, series of parameters setting, narrow band warning, axis orbit analysis and real time or historical data transport etc. 2) Precise analysis and diagnosis through LAN. It can realizes historical data repeat, time field analysis, spectrum analysis, time delay field analysis, axis orbit analysis, digital filter, corelation analysis, holographic spectrum analysis, demodulation analysis, FFT delicate analysis and so on.There are six technical characteristics in the system. l)Using the way alike differential input to increase the ability of anti-jamming. 2)Combining multiple thread with DMA to ensure real time online monitor. 3)Realizing high precision measurement of rotating speed by general purpose counter and timing in A/D card.4)Using TCP/IP network protocol to realize high speed data transport between upper computer and lower computer. 5)Mixed collection by combining traditional vibration measurement with RS-485 field bus.6)Based on the characteristic of online monitor, present a new type of data format.Since the testing running of the system, every function has been verified. It satisfies the desire of users so gets some praise. During that time successfully solved the problem that the temperature of 2# gearbox's output shaft in east end was always too higher by this system.
