Research And Development On The Key Technology Of Color Image Synthesizing System Based On Multi-layer Structure

The system of color image synthesizing is an image process system based on multi-layer structure, which realizes image segment and image synthesizing. Image process is a cross area of many sciences such as mathematics, physics, computer science, artificial intelligence and psychics. With the development of image process technology, more and more fields make use of it.Base on the analysis of image segment and image synthesizing technology, this thesis designs some algorithms of image segment with the wavelet multi-scale analysis and image synthesizing with the multi-layer structure. The wavelet multi-scale analysis can detect edge points in different scale and get the exact position of image edge. The algorithm of image synthesizing with multi-layer structure uses the technologe of mask and channels to realize image synthesizing. For saving the data of image synthesized, the system designs a new file formate with layer information.Based on the analysis of the key technologys of image processing, such as: image segment, image synthesizing and image file parseing, an image synthesizing system is designed. It can satisfy digital-photo-process, art design, environment layout design and advertisement design. It also provide many functions, such as: image segment, image synthesize, mask processing, color adjusting, geometric transforming and image effect processing.In this thesis, some new algorithms for image segment and image synthesize are designed and realized, and the mode of the image synthesizing system is discussed. The principle contents studied in this thesis are as follows:1. Studying the algorithm of image segment, and bringing forth a new color image segment algorithm based on wavelet multi-scale analysis. Based on this, the system realizes the auto-segment of the color image objects.2. Studying the algorithm of image synthesizing, and designing new algorithm based on multi-layer data structure that records information of each layer in synthesized image and the method of image combination.3. Analysis the information of synthesized image and the format of image file, and designing the PTS file format which records the synthesized image based onmulti-layer structure.4. Analysis the requirement and the target of image system, and designing the image process functions, such as: adjusting image color, transforming image shape and enhancing image effect.5. Analysis the structure and functions of the system, designing the system frame, determining the function modules and the interfaceing relations among them, and implementing the prototype system (PhotoSyn).PhotoSyn system is developed using Microsoft Vidual C++. It runs on Microsoft Windows NT/2000 system. We have used it to make art-photo and advertisement, and it works as expected.
