With the development of the technology, medical image has been the key auxiliary means for the doctor to diagnose and cure the disease. And the Computed Tomography(CT) becomes the main way of pathologic(al) and anatomic research for its high acuteness of picture resolution and low hurt to human body. It is necessary to run the medical image through the computer to improve the readability and to discover and diagnose the structure of dissection of human body.Wavelet transform is a new signal and image processing tool developed in recent years. The wavelet analysis has excellent time and frequency feature, which hands a progmising application in image de-noising and enhancement, and makes the field full of vitality. The Computed Tomography(CT) becomes the main way of medical clinical diagnosis. And since the noise produced in the process of becoming picture has debased the quality of the image and has affected the diagnose of doctors, it is necessary to quell the noise and boost up the medical image through the computer. CT image de-noising and enhancement are a pre-processing step, which is also the premise of disease recognition and analysis. So during the processing of the image research on CT image de-noising and enhancement is of great significance. First the paper introduces the present state of research on de-noising and enhancement based on wavelet, and then it makes a brief description of theoretical knowledge about image de-noising and enhancement via wavelet. Finally, according to multi-resolution of wavelet analysis together with human vision, the paper studies both image de-noising and enhancement based on wavelet and proposes relevant methods.The contents are as follows: 1.In the aspect of CT image de-nosising, the paper proposes a compromise de-noising methed of the soft and hard function based on the wavelet partial threshold value.Contrasted with wavelet compulsory de-noising, the hard function de-noising of overall threshold value, the soft founction de-noising of overall threshold value, and wavelet packets de-noising through the experiments, wavelet packets de-noising proves to be the most effective, which can effectively filter out the noise in the image, and keep the marginal effects well.
