With the development of the computer technology, embedded systems have been widely used in each field of social production and social living. Embedded Internet technology, based on computer technology and communication technology, can be used to connect various embedded system to the Internet, so people can know embedded system's condition and make them under remote control anywhere at any moment. With the popularity of the Internet, remote education has greatly developed. But under the remote educational system, remote experiment hasn't been solved primely. This paper puts forward an experiment systm that uses embedded Internet technology to deal with remote EDA experiment.The remote EDA experimental system is designed for curriculum of digital logic circuit and modern programmable devices (such as FPGAs and CPLDs) during college education. It includes management sever, experiment servers and clients. This paper mainly focuses on the design and realization of the embedded remote experiment server and of the interactive experimental environment software of client.It firstly introduces the embedded Internet technology and several methods of connecting embedded systems into the Internet. Having analyzed their advantages, disadvantages and applied situations, it chooses a lowcost and high performance project to realize the experiment severs' connection to the Internet. Without other interface chips or PC, the experiment servers can contact Internet directly. With the feature of re-programmable, PLDs (Programmable Logic Device) are used to verify user's digital circuit. It uses SVF (Serial Vector Format) files to describe the user's digital circuit, and makes the processor of embedded system explain SVF files to configure the PLDs over the Internet. A multi-channel test circuit is designed for testing the programmable logic device in the common experiment circuit board. In addition, system's administrator can configure the experiment severs' parameters through the web service offered by them.Finally it describes the design models and realizable method of client experiment environment software, which gives users an intuitionistic and friendly GUI. The process of interactive testing between client and experiment server is also presented.In this paper, Embedded Internet Technology and remote testing technology are combined to deal with remote EDA experiment, which is a novelty and lowcost way.
